How to Change Your Account Email
You can now change the email address linked to your HeyGen account directly from your dashboard!
Click on the box with your Initial on it in the lower-left corner of the HeyGen platform.
Select Settings from the menu.
Under the Account tab (which appears first), click on Change Email.
🛎️ The new email you’d like to use must be one that hasn’t already been registered in HeyGen , it needs to be completely new, not linked to an existing account.
Your account and all your projects will remain exactly the same — only your login email will be updated.
HeyGen account access issues
If you’re having trouble accessing your account, below are the most common cases and how to resolve them.
Forgot your password? Use the Forgot password? option on the login page to reset it.
Lost access to your email but still signed in on a device? You can update your account email from your settings as shown above.
Lost access to your email and fully signed out of HeyGen? We’re unable to recover or transfer the account. Please reach out to our support team so we can cancel any pending or future charges on your subscription.
To help clarify this, If you no longer have access to the original email of your HeyGen account, you can still change your account to a different email from Settings as long as you’re signed in on at least one device. If you’re signed out and no longer have access to that inbox, we’re unable to recover the account. In those cases, support can only help cancel future charges or subscriptions.
How to View Your Video History and Credit history
To view your full video history, including premium credit usage and API credit usage-
Click on the box with your Initial on it in the lower-left corner of the HeyGen platform.
Select Settings from the menu.
Click on the History tab where you can review Studio and Translations videos. This includes finalized Video Agent videos as well once they are fully generated.
How to Activate Multi-Factor Authentication [MFA/2FA]
Click on the box with your Initial on it in the lower-left corner of the HeyGen platform.
Select Settings from the menu.
Under the Account tab (which appears first), click on 2-factor authentication
When you click it, a prompt will appear asking you to send a code to your email. Confirm the code sent to your email, and two-factor authentication will be enabled.
How to Permanently Delete Your Account
If you choose to delete your account entirely, please note that this is a permanent action and cannot be undone. All your personal data and associated information will be permanently removed from our system.

To delete your account, follow these steps:
Click on the box with your Initial on it in the lower-left corner of the HeyGen platform.
Select Settings from the menu.
Under the Account tab (which appears first), click Delete Account
When you click it, a prompt will appear asking you to type in your email to confirm. Once you complete that, your account and all your data will be instantly deleted.
