How to Change Your Account Email
You can now change the email address linked to your HeyGen account directly from your dashboard!
Click on the box with your name on it in the lower-left corner of the HeyGen interface.
Select Settings from the menu.
Under the General tab (which appears first), click on your current email address.
Choose “Change Account Email” and follow the on-screen instructions to update it.
The process will require you to verify both your old previous email and the new email you'd like the account to be linked to.
🛎️ The new email you’d like to use must be one that hasn’t already been registered in HeyGen , it needs to be completely new, not linked to an existing account.
Your account and all your projects will remain exactly the same — only your login email will be updated.
How to View Your Video History
To view your full video history, click your name in the top right, go to Settings, then click History. From there, you’ll see all videos you’ve generated across all formats.
How to Activate Multi-Factor Authentication [MFA/2FA]
Log in to your HeyGen account and click your name at the top of the sidebar, then go to Settings. From there, you’ll see an option to toggle off “Disable MFA.” When you click it, a prompt will appear asking you to send a code to your email. Confirm the code sent to your email, and two-factor authentication will be enabled.
How to Permanently Delete Your Account
If you choose to delete your account entirely, please note that this is a permanent action and cannot be undone. All your personal data and associated information will be permanently removed from our system.

To delete your account, follow these steps:
Step One: Open your profile page.
Step Two: Go to your account settings in the top left corner and locate the option to delete your account.
Step Three: Click the designated button to initiate the account deletion process and confirm by typing in your email .
🛑 Critical: Please ensure this is what you want to do, as the action cannot be reversed.
