What are Generative Credit Packs?
Generative Credit Packs are available as add-ons to HeyGen Creator and Team plans. Generative Credits allow you to continue using HeyGen's advanced AI features after you've used up your monthly plan allowances.
Each Generative Credit Pack costs $15/ month (or $150/year) and contains 300 credits per month and lets you access features like Avatar IV generation, Add Motion, Generate Looks, Upscale Video, AI Model Training and Video Translation minutes without interruption. These 300 credits mean different things with each of these features so please check the table below for more info.
If you're on a monthly plan, your Generative Credit Add-on pack will renew the same date as your main subscription. If you're on the annual plan, you will get all 3600 GenCredits at once, with one annual charge of $150.

How Generative Credits Apply to Each Feature
Generative credits unlocks more usage for the following advanced generative features:
AvatarIV : Turn a single photo and script into a realistic talking video using our advanced AvatarIV model. Each Generative credit equals two seconds of AvatarIV Video.
Add Motion: Each add motion to photars converts a still image to a 5-10s video with full background and body motion. 10 Generative Credits equals one Motion adding.
Upscale Video: Converts your motion video to a 4K resolution video. 10 Generative Credits equals one upscaling.
Generate Looks: Use a text prompt to generate Avatar Looks from scratch, or generate new Avatar Looks from photos using a trained AI model. 1 Generative Credit equals one Look Generation.
AI Model Training: Train a custom AI model trained from your photos, and generate more looks using a trained AI model. 20 Generative Credits equals to one Training of the photar model.
Video Translation: to generate video translation beyond the 120 minutes per month under Creator and Team plan, the Generative credits pack can help by providing 1 minute of video translation per 5 credits.
Generate Assets: Instantly create custom visuals powered by 8 of the world’s top AI models. Whether you need striking images or dynamic video clips, just type your idea and watch it come to life. (1 image = 2 credits, 1 video = 15 credits)

🛎️ Note: HeyGen automatically generates 4 looks at once, which uses 4 credits, so keep this in mind as you map out your usage.
🛎️ Note: For translations specifically, one $15 Generative Credits pack includes 300 credits. Video Translation uses 5 credits per minute, so each pack adds 60 minutes total. If you need more than 60 minutes, you can buy multiple packs.
🛎️ Note: Creator and Team plans receive 15 Image Asset generation by default per month without using GenCredits. Only when those 15 images are used, the 16th image/video generation onwards will use GenCredits.
How Can I Purchase Generative Credits?
There are two ways to buy our Generative Credits Add-on packs:
⚠️ Important: This is a monthly subscription. As you purchase and use add-ons, please remember they are tied to your main Creator or Team plan. If you cancel your main plan, any active add-ons will be cancelled as well.
If not cancelled, add-ons will automatically renew at your next subscription renewal date, in addition to your Creator or Team plan.
⚠️ Important: Please keep in mind- any add-on you purchase will renew on the same date as your subscription, so best to be mindful of that and purchase the add-on only when you have enough time left on your subscription to use it.
Unused credits / priority videos will not transfer to the next billing cycle automatically if the plan and add-on are not renewed. You must have an active HeyGen subscription ( Creator/Team) to have an active add-on.

Out of Credits Prompt
When you run out of Generative Credits you should receive a pop-up message that offers you to purchase generative credit packs. Simply select the number of packs you need and complete your purchase to continue creating.
