How to Use Instant Highlights
Step One: Accessing the Tool
On your HeyGen homepage, click on Apps, and then choose Instant Highlights.
Step Two: Input URL or Upload Video
Paste the video URL or upload the video you want to create a highlight reel from.
Step Three: Customize Your Instant Highlights Clips
Clip Duration: Set the preferred length range for each highlight clip.
Clip Aspect Ratio: Choose the aspect ratio for your clips (16:9, 9:16, or 1:1).
Caption Settings: Enable captions by selecting a style, or turn them off.
Highlight Instructions: Specify what to include, exclude, or emphasize in your clips.
Step four (Optional): Refine After Rendering
From the left panel, you can:
Edit your video in AI Studio for more control
Update the video thumbnail
View, copy, or download captions
Things to Know When Using Instant Highlights
Video Requirements:
For Uploaded Videos:
File Types: MP4, MOV, WEBM
File Size: Up to 10GB
For Uploaded Videos and YouTube Links:
Process videos as short as 1 minute or as long as 10 hours. For videos around 1 minute, there may not be enough footage to create a comprehensive highlight. Longer videos provide better results!
