Downloading and exporting your videos from HeyGen gives you the freedom to use your content anywhere- whether it's for presentations, social media, or sharing with clients. Take your high-quality videos beyond the platform and showcase your work wherever you need it.
How to Download a Video
You can easily download your video by navigating to your 'Projects' tab and clicking on the '...' button in the top right of your video, then pressing 'Download'.
You can also download and export the file by clicking directly into the video and clicking on the top right button. This is also where you can download just the audio of your video or download the captions SRT file.
🛎️ Note: 4K downloads are available to Pro, Business and Enterprise plans only. To download videos in 4K, please ensure your Avatar footage is in 4K quality and the 4K resolution option is selected when submitted.
Under the "Advance Settings" you can control
Resolution of the video- 720p, 1080p or 4K for plans that allow 4K videos
Export as SCORM- this is for Business and Enterprise plans only.
Enable Sharing
After opening a video, you can enable sharing options from the same page, allowing you to share your video in various ways, including via direct link, Twitter, LinkedIn, email, GIF thumbnail, or an embed URL.

Once you create a video with HeyGen, you're free to use and distribute it across any platform, including for commercial purposes, as long as your inputs align with standard guidelines. This means avoiding any copyright violations in uploaded materials and keeping character inputs appropriate (no sensitive or offensive language). We aim to make it easy for you to use HeyGen-generated videos wherever you need, ensuring that all copyright requirements are covered for free usage without limitations.
