Batch Mode lets you create multiple videos at once — all with unique scripts, avatars, and voices — directly inside HeyGen. It’s designed for users who produce large volumes of content such as marketing teams, educators, agencies, or anyone managing multi-language or personalized campaigns.

Instead of generating one video at a time in Studio, Batch Mode helps you automate bulk video creation, saving hours of repetitive work.

Who Should Use It

  • Marketing teams: Generate hundreds of product variations or personalized ads in one go.

  • Educators and trainers: Produce the same lesson in different languages or with different instructors.

  • Enterprises and agencies: Localize or customize messages for different markets or clients.

Why Use Batch Mode Instead of Studio

Batch Mode focuses on speed and scalability, not complex video editing.

  • Best for: One-scene avatar videos where each version differs by script, avatar, or voice.

  • Not ideal for: Multi-scene videos or projects requiring heavy visuals or transitions.

Tip: Think of Studio as your creative workspace for editing and direction — and Batch Mode as your production line for bulk output.

How to produce videos in Batch Mode

1. Open the tool

Hover over the Create button, then hover over Apps, and select Batch Mode from the dropdown.

2. Assign a Project Name and Aspect Ratio

Name your bulk project and choose an aspect ratio — either portrait or landscape.

3. Write a Script

Write or paste your script into the script box. Keep in mind that Batch Mode is limited to one scene — it’s just your avatar delivering the script.

You can click the + icon to add multiple scripts, each assigned to different avatars.

4. Assign an Avatar and a Voice

Assign one or more avatars to deliver the script in each individual script box.

You can also select a voice—either from the voices you’ve uploaded or directly from the HeyGen Voice Library.

5. Generate your Videos

Once you’ve set all your video parameters, click Generate Videos to start creating them.

6. Edit your Videos in the Editing Studio

Once your videos are generated, you can edit them in the Editing Studio. Simply click on the generated video, then select Edit to begin.
