Batch Mode lets you generate many single-scene avatar videos at once. Each video can use a different script, avatar, and voice, all processed together in one bulk job, so you don’t have to create videos one by one.

Best for

Batch Mode is ideal when you need high volume and your videos follow the same format, with variations such as:

  • different scripts (personalized messages, ad copy, training lines)

  • different avatars (speakers, personas, instructors)

  • different voices or languages (localization at scale)

Who uses it most

  • Marketing teams: Create multiple ad versions and A/B tests quickly

  • Educators & trainers: Produce the same lesson in multiple languages or with different presenters

  • Agencies & enterprise teams: Personalize or localize content for multiple clients, regions, or audiences

Batch Mode vs Studio (when to use which)

  • Use Batch Mode when you want speed and scalability for one-scene videos

  • Use Studio when you need multi-scene storytelling, visuals, transitions, or hands-on creative control

Tip : Studio is your creative workspace --> Batch Mode is your production line.

How to produce videos in Batch Mode

1. Open the tool

Hover over the Create button, then hover over Apps, and select Batch Mode from the dropdown.

2. Assign a Project Name and Aspect Ratio

Name your bulk project and choose an aspect ratio ( either portrait or landscape ) .

3. Write a Script

Write or paste your script into the script box. Keep in mind that Batch Mode is limited to one scene, it’s just your avatar delivering the script.

You can click the + icon to add multiple scripts, each assigned to different avatars.

4. Assign an Avatar and a Voice

Assign one or more avatars to deliver the script in each individual script box.

You can also select a voice, either from the voices you’ve uploaded or directly from the HeyGen Voice Library.

5. Generate your Videos

Once you’ve set all your video parameters, click Generate Videos to start creating them.

6. Find your projects in a Batch folder

You can then access the project from your Projects tab. A folder will be automatically created containing your full collection of videos.

7. Edit your Videos in the Editing Studio

Once your videos are generated, you can edit them in the Editing Studio. Simply click on the generated video, then select Edit to begin.
