How to Use Quick Avatar Video
1. Open the Quick Avatar Video Tool
Go to:
Apps → All Apps → Quick Avatar Video
2. Choose an Avatar
You’ll see two sections:
My Avatars: Any custom avatars you’ve created
Public Avatars: Free, pre-made avatars available to all users
Select one to continue.
Then choose your orientation:
Portrait (9:16)
Landscape (16:9)
3. Add Your Script
Click Add Script.
You can either:
Type or paste your own script, up to 2,520 characters (≈ 3 minutes), or
Click Sample Script to choose from preset samples
4. Select a Voice
Some avatars come with their own preset voices.
You can also choose:
Any voice you’ve created
Any voice from HeyGen’s Public Voice Library
5. Choose a Motion Engine
You have two options:
• Avatar Unlimited (Free)
Lip-sync only
No advanced body or facial motion
Fastest generation
• Avatar IV Digital Twin (Paid, uses credits)
Most realistic full-body gestures
Dynamic expressions
Face, body, and background adapt to the script
Shows your remaining monthly Avatar IV minutes in the dropdown when selected
6. Choose Resolution
You can export your video in:
720p
1080p
7. Generate or Continue Editing
When you're ready:
Generate Video → produces the final avatar video quickly
Edit in Studio → sends the project to AI Studio for more advanced editing (optional)
