    • Recognized under Article 3(3) of the EU AI Act, HeyGen operates as a provider of AI systems. We acknowledge the responsibilities this entails and strive to meet all associated obligations.

  3. Legality of the AI Systems

    • HeyGen does not develop AI systems related to prohibited AI practices outlined in Article 5 of the EU AI Act.

    • Our AI systems are not classified as high-risk under Chapter III Annex III of the EU AI Act. We also do not provide general-purpose AI systems as described in the Act. Our expertise is concentrated on delivering advanced AI Avatar technologies tailored to specific user needs.

  5. Transparency and User Awareness

    • Complying with Chapter IV (Articles 50.2 and 50.4 of the EU AI Act), we are transparent about the AI-generated nature of content on our platform. Clear disclosures are provided throughout our website, terms of service, and privacy policies to keep users informed.
