Video Avatars come with an option to remove the background from your footage, available on all paid subscriptions. This guide will walk you through how to enable this feature in the new Editing Studio,

Step 1: Open a New Project

Select Create Video on your dashboard home screen, then click Avatar Video and choose your preferred orientation. Next, remove the stock avatar and replace it with your own.

Step 2: Toggle off the Background

Toggle the Background button to OFF. Now you can change the background color, add a photo, or maybe some text—time to let your creativity shine!

Step 3: Submit Your Video

After enabling the background removal and wrapping up your project, the final step is simple: submit your video and watch the HeyGen Magic 🪄 happen.
