How to Create 4K Avatars:
You can create your own avatar in stunning 4K quality. Just make sure the footage you upload is already in 4K, as lower-quality footage can't be converted to 4K.
During creation, check the box next to 4K resolution to ensure this feature is enabled for your final rendered avatar.
How to Create 4K Videos in AI Studio:
Use your 4K Avatar [created above] in AI Studio projects and maintain that same high-resolution quality. Just make sure to click 'Submit as 4K' when you're ready to complete your project.

🔥 Hot Tip: You can also 'Submit as 4K Avatar WebM'. Submitting as a 4K Avatar WebM means that after creating your avatar in 4K quality, you have the option to export or save the avatar in the WebM format, which is a high-quality, web-optimized video format. WebM is known for its efficient compression, making it ideal for online use while preserving the high resolution of 4K. This feature is mostly used with Adobe products.
If you are using the avatars from Avatar Library provided by HeyGen, please note that the avatar you choose must be labeled as 4K.
How to Translate Videos in 4K:
When translating your videos on HeyGen, you can keep the original 4K quality intact. The translation process respects the resolution of your original footage, so your final product remains as sharp and detailed as the original.
To ensure your footage remains in 4K, make sure to select 'Use the original video specs' during translation creation.
Requirements for 4K Quality
To take advantage of 4K quality on HeyGen, make sure you have the following:
Enterprise Plan: The 4K feature is available exclusively for users on enterprise plan or for Team plan purchased before Sep 10th 2024 and continuously maintained (if you pause/cancel/miss payment, your Team plan will not have 4K option).
4K Footage: The footage you upload for creating avatars or translating videos must be in 4K to maintain this quality.

Can I create 4K avatars on HeyGen?
Yes, you can create avatars in 4K resolution on HeyGen, provided you have a continuous monthly/annual Team plan purchased before Sep 10th 2024, or Enterprise plan and upload 4K footage for the avatar creation.
For Team users, if your plan was purchased before Sep 10th, 2024 but a payment was missed- you will lose access to 4K as your plan will be considered part of the new plan.
Can I produce 4K videos in AI Studio?
Absolutely! When you create AI Studio videos using your 4K avatar, the output will maintain the same high level of quality. You can create your own instant avatar in 4K or use one of our public 4K avatars!
Will my video translations keep the original 4K quality?
Yes, HeyGen preserves the original 4K resolution during the translation process, so your translated videos will match the quality of your original footage.
