Instant Highlights is a Beta feature that automatically turns your long videos into engaging highlight reels. Supported by HeyGen's advanced AI technology, this tool aims to help content creators and teams to promoting their content.

How to Use Instant Highlights
Step One: Accessing the Tool
Sign up or Login to your Heygen account (Instant Highlights BETA is available for both Free and Paid users). Navigate to the Instant Highlights feature in the Labs section of your dashboard.
Step Two: Input URL
Paste the video URL or Upload the video you want to create a highlight reel from.
Step Three: Choose your input language
When submitting your video, you’ll select the INPUT language (the video’s original language). Please note that this feature does not translate the highlights into another language. If you need translations, you can use our Video Translate feature afterward!
Step Four: Customize Your Instant Highlight Clips
Highlight Instructions: Specify the parts of the video you want to highlight.
Clip Duration: Set the desired duration range for your highlight clips.
Clip Aspect Ratio: Choose the aspect ratio for your clips (16:9, 9:16, or 1:1).
Caption Settings: Toggle captions on or off as needed.
Let our AI automatically identify and create the highlights for you.
Things to Know When Using Instant Highlights
Video Requirements:
For Uploaded Videos:
File Types: MP4, MOV, WEBM
File Size: Up to 10GB
For Uploaded Videos and YouTube Links:
Process videos as short as 1 minute or as long as 10 hours. For videos around 1 minute, there may not be enough footage to create a comprehensive highlight. Longer videos provide better results!
