Step 1: Install the HeyGen app and Create Custom Fields
To get started, install the HeyGen app (available in the HubSpot Marketplace).
When installing the HeyGen app, you’ll need to grant HubSpot permission to manage and view your CRM data.
Once your HeyGen and HubSpot accounts are connected, create two custom fields on the contact object. These fields (heygen_video and heygen_video_gif) allow you to add personalized video links directly to the contact record.

In HubSpot, navigate to the Workflows section of the platform. This is where you will create and customize your personalized video.
After creating a new workflow, select an Enrollment Trigger to identify the recipients of your personalized video.
For example, to create a custom video for everyone who attended an event you held in Boston last week, select "list membership" and search for the relevant event attendee list.
Next, add the custom action, “Generate a HeyGen personalized video for a contact,” to your workflow.
Within the custom action, you have options:

After customizing your video parameters, activate your workflow. Once the workflow is turned on, it will automatically generate your custom video and add the link to the relevant contact records in HubSpot.
Step 3: Build Personalized Sales and Marketing Campaigns
Now, it’s time to put your video to use.
