Captions [or subtitles] make your videos more accessible, improve viewer engagement, and help reach a wider audience, including those who are hard of hearing or prefer watching without sound. They're also great for SEO, making your content easier to discover online!

Using Captions in AI Studio

In AI Studio, you can add stylized captions directly within the editor. To enable them:

  1. Open your project in AI Studio.

  2. Click on the right-side menu bar.

  3. Activate the Captions option.

Once enabled, you can fully customize them, including color, font, size, and positioning, and edit the text directly within the Studio.

⚠️ Please note: Closed Captions (CC) are not currently available for Avatar Videos. For now, only stylized captions added in AI Studio will appear in the final rendered video.

Adding Captions to a Proofread Project

Select the captions checkbox when clicking Submit.

Adding Captions to Translation Projects Without Proofreading

For translation projects without proofreading, captions must be added before submitting the project.

Please note that in this case, advanced caption controls like style, color, or speed are not available. If you’d like to edit the caption text itself, choose the Review & Edit option when submitting your project. This allows you to edit the script, and any changes will automatically update the caption text.

For Translation Projects, you can enable Closed Captions (CC) directly from the Share page.

To activate them:

  1. Open the Share page of your translated video.

  2. Click on the “CC” button to enable Closed Captions.

This will allow viewers to toggle captions on and off when watching the shared video.

We hope you enjoy using our caption tools to make your already amazing content even better!
