In this article, we're excited to help you understand how our credit system works.

In HeyGen, the credits represent the TOTAL amount of video minutes that you can create within your subscription period. For example, if you have a 10-minute/month subscription, you can use your 10 minutes to create either one 10-minute video or ten 1-minute videos - it's entirely up to you!

Each video rounds up to 30s or 0.5 credit.
For example, a 5-second or 30-second video consumes 0.5 credit, a 31-second or a 60-second consumes 1 credit.

We understand that your video creation needs may change over time, which is why we've made it easy for you to switch to a new plan at any time.

When switching to a new plan, it is activated immediately with the full credit, new billing cycle with a full payment. Your previous plan will be automatically cancelled, and previous credits will expire with their original billing cycle.
