Screen Recorder allows you to capture what’s happening on your screen while recording your voice at the same time. This is useful for product demos, walkthroughs, internal training, onboarding content, and tutorials.
After you add the recording to your project, HeyGen turns it into a scene with your video as a background!
This gives you more flexibility to keep editing your content after the recording is done.
How to Start a Screen Recording
To record your screen in AI Studio:
Open your project in AI Studio
Click Recorder on the right side tab
Choose whether to keep your microphone on or off
Click Start Recording
Choose what exactly you'd like to record- entire screen, tab or window.
If you want to redo the take, return to AI Studio, stop the recording, and click Restart Recording to begin again.
How to Add a Screen Recording to Your Video
When you finish recording, you’ll be able to preview the clip, trim parts you don't like, or split it into multiple scenes.
Once added, your screen recording will appear as a video layer in a new scene or scenes.
From there, you can continue editing the scene inside AI Studio.
